Rick Hobgood, a Director and Financial Advisor at Baird, has proudly served clients with the firm since 1977. With over 40 years of financial planning experience and a passion for macroeconomic theory, he brings a vast amount of expertise to the team. Rick focuses on financial planning and portfolio construction, helping clients accumulate, preserve, and distribute wealth – and he values an individualized approach to every client.
Rick earned his bachelor’s degrees in both business and economics from Western Kentucky University. He is also a Baird Certified Wealth Adviser® and has attended the Securities Industry Institute.
Rick is especially passionate about serving his community and currently serves as a trustee for the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels. He formerly served as chairman of the board of Owensboro RiverPark Center, Owensboro Daviess County Convention and Visitors Bureau, Owensboro Metropolitan Planning Commission, and the Foundation for Daviess County Public Schools.
